A typical runner experiences too much pounding, tightening, and shortening of the muscles and not enough restorative, elongating, and loosening work. Yoga's internal focus centers your attention on your own body's movements rather than on an external outcome. Runners can use yoga practice to balance strength, increase range of motion, and train the body and mind.


Help protect your joints with this exclusive workshop designed to help meet the needs of runner's bodies during training. This does not mean doing sun salutations sandwiched between runners at the start line of your race or doing downward dog at the finish line , The workshop will work through stretches twists and breathing techniques that systematically engage and release the whole body to keep you injury free and running at your peak 

Mats are provided, and all levels are absolutely welcome. Please wear comfortable clothing / gym wear (shorts / sports trousers and t-shirts / vests).
