Welcome to Barefoot Yoga Studio!

Barefoot Yoga Studio is a true first for the village of Lucan. Noticing that the area was lacking a studio that brought all aspects of yoga and fitness together under one roof, this custom built studio was developed and is the only studio in the area that offers a full range of yoga and fitness classes, from beginner to expert levels.

Some of the classes offered at Barefoot Yoga Studio are Hot Yoga, Beginners Yoga, Pilates, Meditation, Fitness classes and Mum & Baby classes making Barefoot Yoga Studio a pioneer facility in the industry.

All our instructors are fully qualified and experienced and genuinely care for your well-being. We keep our class numbers small enough to know each individual and cater to everyone's needs. Our studios are warm and friendly with a community atmosphere.

YIN YOGA TODAY @ 4PM A Yin Yoga class usually consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body—the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. The poses are held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer. Yin Yoga is for you if you are tired, over-stimulated, when your energy is too erratic, your mind overactive, whether you are craving for energy or you feel you have too much of it. HOT FLOW YOGA TOMORROW @ 12.15pm While heated classes can strike fear into many, it really shouldn't. In fact, the heat makes it all the less scary! For the less bendy among us, the heat warms the muscles quickly, increasing suppleness and flexibility. So (while it's important not to over do it) you may find postures far less of a problem in the heat. One of the key factors of the heat is that it enhances the range of physical benefits. It makes the heart and lungs work harder - increasing the cardio and aerobic workout :) There is no denying that taking the time to take part in our hot yoga classes will do wonders for your mind and body.
