Welcome to Barefoot Yoga Studio!

Barefoot Yoga Studio is a true first for the village of Lucan. Noticing that the area was lacking a studio that brought all aspects of yoga and fitness together under one roof, this custom built studio was developed and is the only studio in the area that offers a full range of yoga and fitness classes, from beginner to expert levels.

Some of the classes offered at Barefoot Yoga Studio are Hot Yoga, Beginners Yoga, Pilates, Meditation, Fitness classes and Mum & Baby classes making Barefoot Yoga Studio a pioneer facility in the industry.

All our instructors are fully qualified and experienced and genuinely care for your well-being. We keep our class numbers small enough to know each individual and cater to everyone's needs. Our studios are warm and friendly with a community atmosphere.

MEDITATION FOR BEGINNERS TOMORROW @ 8.30PM Meditation is relaxation. It is not about concentration, it’s actually about de-concentration. It’s not about focussing one’s thoughts on one thing, but instead on becoming thoughtless :) What are the benefits of meditation? * A calm mind * Good concentration * Better clarity * Improved communication * Relaxation and rejuvenation of the mind and body With meditation, the physiology undergoes a change and every cell in the body is filled with more prana (energy). This results in joy, peace, enthusiasm as the level of prana in the body increases. YOGA FUNDAMENTALS TOMORROW @ 7.15PM For our absolute Beginner Yogi's or those looking for a refresher class 🙂 A steady yoga practice will help you build strength, flexibility, balance, focus and inner peace. Classes are taught by our experienced teachers in a semi-private setting that is limited to 10 students to ensure everyone gets personalized attention. Each week will introduce a new series of yoga poses, teach the fundamentals of healthy and safe alignment, and connect poses and breath in moving meditation. SLOW FLOW YOGA THIS EVENING @ 7.15PM Slow flow vinyasa is practiced at a slower pace than regular vinyasa style classes, allowing students to breathe more deeply and increase flexibility, strength, and stamina. This class expands on Sun Salutations, building heat in flowing asana sequences, and finishing up with a restorative savasana. Geared toward those with some yoga experience.
